Slide in the Play Area at Monkey Biz, Baton Rouge, LAPlay area at Monkey Biz, Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LAIf you have younger children or grandchildren, there are those days where it's too cold or rainy to play outside.  Here in Baton Rouge there is a solution to working off some of that pent up energy!  It's a play area called Monkey Biz.  This indoor play area is child and parent firendly.

The carpeted indoor area is divided into several areas.  First, there's the Play Area filled with tunnels and ball pits and slides.Ball Pit in Monkey Biz play area, Baton Rouge, LA  They even have an enclosed play area for little toddlers with soft mats and steps and a playhouse.

The second area is the game area where players can win tokens playing a wide variety of games such as Ms.Packman, ball machines, basketball or bowling, air hockey, etc.  Monkey Biz Game Area

Ann - that looks like a great time for kids ( and perhaps some adults). Nice localism post!

I have a 18 month old daughter and I have been trying to find somewhere that she would be able to have a good time. Cause everywhere we take here theres nothing for her to do. Is monkey biz the right place for me to take her?

Alisha, There is a toddler area for 18 month olds.  You'd need to be with her on all the rides and possibly the slide and ball areas (parents are allowed to go with their children into the play area). The coin games would probably not be for that young an age.

My husband and I loved taking our son there. We have moved to TN and there is nothing here for young children to do. The place was great and we enjoyed getting in there with him as much as he did. We wish we could start a franchise of it here or do something like it. With nothing like this in the area we feel like it would do well. I encourage any parent that goes to jump right on in with your child and have a ball.

We have always enjoyed monkey biz but feel that they dont clean their equipment as they should. I have had to climb through this structure many times with my children, and have found all kinds of dirty sox, candy, etc. Wish it were a little cleaner.

I take my 4 year old here and he really enjoys it.  He plays his little heart out for about 4 hours then goes directly home bathes eats and sleeps.  it is indoors and we can go even when it rains.  He is not interested in the coin games, so we only have to pay the couple of dollars for him to get in.  This is our weekly get away.  I would recomment it to any one with small children.  It is worth every penny you spend on getting in.

My niece is about to turn one years old. Is this a good place to have a pary?

They have lots of parties.  I like the separate area for toddlers away from the older children.  If you decide to use them ask for a table closer to the toddler area.
