Neighborhoods and Activities in Baton Rouge

This Will Inspire You!

Swimmer, Team Hoyt Video, Baton Rouge Homes, LouisianaThis morning on Twitter, I came across a link shared by John Jamieson in Detriot Michigan that inspired me to write this post and share his link.  There is so much negative press and many of us have seen our real estate business fall away and our markets become difficult.  Many have lost jobs, homes, and suffered much grief. In the ever day hum drum our lives can loose meaning and focus.  This family kept their focus and turned their difficulties into opportunities that have gone on to inspire many other people all over the world!

The lessons in the message are ones we can all benefit from watching.  Team Hoyt - I Can

Wow! Thanks for sharing. *sniff* We all need to keep inspiration flowing, and remember how precious life is!

What an ordeal, what a triumph for them both, and don't forget who made it all happen, our God who gave the strength and courage, and love, so much love.  Thank you for sharing this with us.  Yes, I can only imagin.

Hi  This certainly puts self pity in it's place.  I cried from the first few seconds through the whole video. Stories like this tear at my heart with compasion, shame and inspiration. Compasion to the one's who carry their crosses with such dignity, perserverence and acceptance..... shame...for the self pity that is so easy to fall into and inspiration to learn that the Lord's promises will carry us through all that life throws at us...Life is precious

Chris, Karen, I shed a few tears myself and then realized how our difficulties are just opportunities and that inspired me.

Bob, when we say I Can....and that means let God's infinite power flow into and thru us; we can overcome much.  Also, this video said to me we also have to do our part! Here they used what was available...doctors, computers, sports competition and training...and worked really hard.

I think pride in the forms of self-pity or self-righteousness is part of our human condition.  But we can put that aside and focus on other things.
