Spring Explodes around Baton Rouge Homes in an array of colored blossoms

spring blooms by Baton Rouge,Homes, Louisiana

This past week and a half spring has come to the Baton Rouge area.  When you look down the roads or in neighborhood yards like this one off Bluebonnet Road in South East Baton Rouge, you will find an array of blossoms.  The tulip trees and fruit trees have exploded into color.

This is a drastic and welcome change with tempertures in the 80's compared to 20's just a few days ago.  While this warm weather may fluctuate some in the next few weeks, the herolding by the tulip trees always means the worst of winter is past.

Wow- we have had recent temps climb to 90 but we don't have the blooms like that yet. Thanks for sharing.

We are seeing the leaves turn green on the oaks and my roses are blooming like crazy. Glad to hear that some other parts of the country are starting to spring up too.

What a beautiful shot, we are seeing pear blossoms, dogwood, etc.  It is always a delight when spring explodes as you so aptly expressed it.  All the best, A
